Every listing, including Free, must authorize Google Search Console. OAuth confirms the agency controls its primary domain and supplies the data for ongoing verification. Access is read-only and can be revoked at any time; disconnecting wipes the data we hold.
The data cannot be bought. Every listing publishes the same depth of first-party performance detail, whether it pays nothing or $49 — the figures come from Google either way, and no plan can inflate, hide or edit them. Pro buys the check mark on your listing, a dofollow link, the embeddable badge and top placement.
The check is never granted by payment alone. It appears only while weekly Search Console verification is passing, and it disappears when verification fails, whatever the plan.
Verification means the numbers are real, not that they are good. An agency whose traffic is falling keeps its data published and is labeled Declining.
Questions
Does connecting Search Console give Ori's List access to my clients' sites?
No. The scope is read-only and we only ever read the property matching your own root domain. Client properties are rejected at verification and nothing about them is stored. You can revoke access from your Google account at any time, and disconnecting wipes the data we hold.
My traffic is down. Will I lose my verified check?
No. Verification means your numbers are real, not that they are good. A declining agency stays listed with its data published, labeled Declining. The only thing that removes a check is a failed verification — revoked access, a domain mismatch, or lost permission — never a bad number.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Nothing about the data. Both connect Search Console, both are re-checked weekly, and both publish the same figures — clicks, growth, trend, queries, pages, devices, countries and history. Pro adds the verified check on your listing, a dofollow link to your site, the embeddable badge, and top placement in the directory.
Can I pay to get the check without connecting Search Console?
No. Paying is not sufficient. A listing that has not connected, or whose weekly verification is failing, shows no check at any price — the check always means the most recent weekly check passed.
